The Story
Vermeil sets a dense contrast: a near brown-black ground, covered in an abundant floral print where red, crimson, and fuchsia meet muted olive-green foliage — held, at the front, by a line built in that same olive tone.
That line takes the form of a textured olive-green panel, beginning at the V-neckline and descending vertically until it closes into an elongated plastron with a rounded end. A narrow decorative band runs through its center, and its surface stays even from collar to base.
The long, relaxed sleeves let the floral print run uninterrupted, before meeting the same olive green again at the cuffs — a quiet echo of the plastron, repeated at the one other point where the garment meets the body.
Vermeil doesn't multiply its gestures: the floral print carries the abundance, the olive-green panel carries the structure. Nothing else is added to that balance.
Craftsmanship
The olive-green panel stands apart from the floral body through a regular linear texture, narrowing from the collar down to its rounded, elongated base. A narrow decorative band runs vertically through its center. The same olive-green tone borders the neckline and cuffs, creating a visual continuity between the front and the sleeves.
